Receptionist - Guernsey Hotel - £19,968 per annum - Live In

Situated in the rural countryside of Guernsey our hotel client is now looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join their friendly and professional Front Office Team

You will be expected to assist with all aspects of the day to day running of this busy operation and work shifts alone when necessary as well as have the ability to remain calm under pressure in a demanding customer environment

As Hotel Receptionist your duties will include:

  • Ensure that all guests are given a warm welcome to the hotel
  • Deal with any guest queries during their stay and ensure that they are being looked after
  • Assist and communicate with all departments ensuring a smooth stay for guests
  • Deal with all reservation queries, adhering to correct selling procedures and rates in order to maximise yields
  • Checking guests in and out
  • Answering emails, handling deposits and other payments
  • Shift reports and cash balances

Following qualities:

  • Excellent communication both verbally and written
  • Ability to speak additional languages would be advantageous
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ideally experience of Rezlynx

Rota is based on 42 hours in a 5 day week

Live-in £85.00 per week
