We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hotel Night Manager to join a small dynamic team for a hotel who are situated in the beautiful Lake District. Our client has luxurious accommodation and lodges including private spa facilities, a fine dining restaurant and breath-taking views

We are looking for a Night Manager who will be responsible for the welfare of the hotel guests and property

As Night Manager your duties will consist of the following: 

  • Responsible for all hotel operations during overnight shift hours
  • Ensure the accurate completion of the daily night audit in a timely manner
  • Ensuring guest and hotel safety & security always
  • Check accommodation, making sure any special requests are carried out accordingly and greet guests upon arrival
  • Act as Duty Manager for the hotel in the absence of the Front Office Manager
  • Dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances and special requests plus any other issues that may arise
  • Occasionally assist with luggage and be point of contact for the guests

What we are looking for in a Night Manager:

  • Rezlynx experience advantageous but training provided
  • Well presented
  • Good communication skills
  • Good command of English both written and verbal
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and a true passion for guest satisfaction 
  • 12 months Night Management experience from preferably a 4 or 5 star background
  • A full driving licence is essential
