We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hotel Receptionist to join a small dynamic team for a hotel who are situated in the beautiful Lake District. Our client has luxurious accommodation and lodges including private spa facilities, a fine dining restaurant and breath-taking views

We are looking for a friendly hotel Receptionist who has an excellent eye for detail, 'can do' attitude and solid reservations experience

As Receptionist your duties will consist of the following: 

  • Ensuring a warm, welcoming reception for guests upon arrival
  • Operating the switchboard
  • Covering reception shifts and breaks as required 
  • Advising about the local area, local events, attractions, sightseeing and cultural events.
  • Receiving payments from guests
  • Problem solving including minor maintenance tasks
  • General administrative duties as required (Daily financial reporting including invoicing, filing, cash handling & inventory management)
  • Taking and inputting of Reservation bookings

What we are looking for in a Receptionist:

  • Rezlynx experience advantageous but training provided
  • An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and a true passion for guest satisfaction 
  • 12 months Hotel experience, preferably from a 4 or 5 star background
  • A full driving licence is essential
