We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hotel Reservations Agent to join a small dynamic team for a hotel who are situated in the beautiful Lake District. Our client has luxurious accommodation and lodges including private spa facilities, a fine dining restaurant and breath-taking views

We are looking for a highly guest focused Reservations Agent who has good sales experience and an excellent eye for detail.

As a Reservations Agent your duties will consist of the following: 

  • Taking and inputting individual / group / restaurant reservations via the phone, email or directly (MUST be confident on the phone)
  • Dealing with over bookings and book outs
  • Monitoring of no shows
  • Chasing Provisional bookings
  • Maximising revenue and occupancy for the hotel through effective up-selling of the services and facilities
  • Assist with reception duties as and when required
  • Flexible to work shifts including weekends

What we are looking for in a Reservations Agent:

  • Rezlynx experience advantageous but training provided
  • An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and a true passion for guest satisfaction 
  • 12 months Reservations experience, preferably from a 4 or 5 star background
  • Flexible to work weekends and shifts
  • A full driving licence is essential
