Our Hotel client needs an IMMEDIATE and EXPERIENCED Meeting & Events / Wedding Coordinator to help support their M&E team for an ongoing placement which could lead to permanent for the right person

You will need to have excellent organisational skills, be self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail and be efficient

As Meeting & Events / Wedding Coordinator your duties will include:

  • Responding to all enquiries (corporate, social and Wedding) in a timely, confident & professional manner, taking every opportunity to up sell and identify sales opportunities
  • Occasionally meet & greet the guests 
  • Assist with contracting and deposit payments
  • Up sell on the client facilities and services
  • Ensure payment method is agreed with clients and credit is maintained as per the hotel/venue standards
  • Respond to client calls and e-mails related to wedding & events set-up and delivery
  • Utilise social media tools to generate interest in weddings and events
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
  • Proactively generate enquiries and marketing collateral 
As Meeting & Events / Wedding Coordinator you MUST have:
  • MUST have a minimum of 12 months hotel M&E and/or Wedding Coordinator experience
  • Ideally have experience of Guestline/Rezlynx
  • Good organisational and administration skills
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Confident telephone manner
