BRAND NEW OPENING – EXCITING PREMIUM GIN BAR

GENUINE CAREER PATH TO GM IN PLACE FROM DAY ONE!

I’m excited to be working on an brilliant new upmarket gin bar/cocktail lounge opening in Wokingham, Berkshire this December, as they look to take on board an ambitious, articulate and altogether talented front of house manager.

Could this be you??

This new independent bar will appeal to those who want to enjoy excellent quality drinks in stunning surroundings, in an environment that caters to those who enjoy the finer things in life. Service will be provided by the best in the industry, with cocktails made by trained mixologists!

Based in the centre of Wokingham, Berkshire, the area is currently going through a huge regeneration, so there’s a lot of buzz around the town, and this bar is set to be the talk of the town.

The bars concept will be based around the botanicals that make up gin, and the bar will stock over 200 gins, each with their own bespoke tonic and garnish pairing, alongside a selection of premium cocktails/spirits and a range of local craft beers. No good bar would be complete without a bit to eat also, so they will offer a range of small plates and cheese boards to ensure the ultimate night out.

The bar is looking to open early December but they are keen to get such a vital position such as front of house manager secured now, as the ideal candidate will help recruit/train other staff and be involved in the site coming together.

As bar/front of house manager, you’ll work under the owner and lead from the front, as you manage/train the staff to deliver an excellent full service experience to the guests. You’ll ideally have a good knowledge of spirits (gin in particular) and craft beer, but most importantly be willing to learn. You’ll also be happy to open and close the bar, and take on any extra tasks as requested by the owners. You’ll be one of the first faces people see when they enter, so a host of personality and a warming charm is essential also.

You’ll come from a quality bar/restaurant/pub background, and be full of ambition, as the right candidate will begin training to eventually become manager of the bar from around six months into the opening, as your responsibilities start to increase.

For your efforts you’ll receive an initial starting salary of up to 23K, which will be reviewed after six months, and at which point a bonus structure will look to be introduced also!

I’m expecting interest in this role to be huge so please don’t delay with your application!

We value all applications, however due to the volume of response we are currently receiving, we are only able to contact candidates whose skills and experience closely match the requirements of our clients.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.
