General Manager

Horsham, West Sussex

Up to 36K + Profit Share

Quality Gastro Pub Group

I’m keen to speak to experienced general managers from a quality background for a general manager position I’m recruiting for in Horsham, West Sussex.

This respected group is known for their cosy venues, offering quality beers, wines and spirits alongside a full fresh food menu that changes with the seasons. This group has over 70 sites across the UK, but aren’t branded, and as such the general manager does have autonomy.

As the general manager for this pub you’ll be charismatic, tenacious and lead your team from the front. Unlike many other large scale companies you’ll enjoy a great deal of independence, with a high degree of independence.

To excel in this role you’ll have a genuine love for fresh food, be a confident decision maker and extremely commercially aware, with an excellent understanding of P&L. You’ll be involved in food tastings, working with the head chef to the development the menu and have the ability to choose your own beer and wine line up.

In return for your efforts, you’ll be rewarded a salary of up to 36K + Benefits and an excellent profit share scheme, discount in all pubs, and genuine personal and career development opportunities.

We value all applications, however due to the volume of response we are currently receiving, we are only able to contact candidates whose skills and experience closely match the requirements of our clients.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.

In line with the requirements of the Employment Agencies Act 1973 Towngate Personnel are prohibited from charging work-seekers for work finding services.
