I’m looking to speak to quality deputy managers for a small independent group of traditional pubs serving classic British pub food in stunning, homely settings for a site in Gravesend, Kent.

They have a strong focus on carefully sourced produce and have a fantastic range of beers and wines. The pub is homely and warm perfect for a Sunday lunch, a drink with friends or even an al fresco dinner thanks to its large beer garden.

As the deputy Manager you will form part of the site management team and support the General Manager with the day to day management of the venue.  You will:

·         Assist with the day to day running of the business

·         Implement and ensure that company standards are maintained

·         Greet guests and handle any issues that arise

·         Train and develop the team members

·         Cover both Bar and Restaurant areas, ensuring guests receive quick, efficient and professional service

·         Engage with team members and guests to ensure that everyone enjoys their time at the site

In return for your efforts you’ll be paid a salary of up to £24K + tips + benefits and this position does also offer live-in.

We value all applications, however due to the volume of response we are currently receiving, we are only able to contact candidates whose skills and experience closely match the requirements of our clients.
