Our client is a stylish and contemporary 100 plus bedroom Hotel who are looking for an experienced Reception Manager to join the front office team

The hotel offers a peaceful and tranquil setting in the County of Berkshire between the towns of Newbury and Thatcham

As Reception Manager you must have experience in a similar role with at supervisory or managerial level and from a 4 star hotel background. You must be self-motivated and be an inspirational leader, who believes in delivering the best possible standards in guest service, continually leading your team of by example. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills

As Reception Manager your main duties will be:

  • Monitoring and supervising staff, ensuring that the hotel standards are maintained at all times
  • Overseeing all front office accounting and financial procedures, and business transactions
  • Updating booking confirmations and checking details and requirements
  • Updating reservations, inputting cancellations and amendments and making sure all booking are accurate.
  • Ensuring that unparalleled service is provided to guests throughout their stay

Experience of Rendezvous would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
