Our 4 star Hotel client who are situated in the heart of Winchester offering an award winning Restaurant and Luxury Spa, are looking for an experienced Reception Supervisor to assist with the overall running of the Front Office

Key Duties and Responsibilities as Reception Supervisor

  • Supporting the Front Office Manager in ensuring that all front office employees are fully trained on departmental health & safety procedures
  • Leading and motivating the front office team to ensure a high level of commitment
  • Assist with the rota, recruitment and training
  • Up sell the hotel facilities ensuring that any reservations taken by the method specified by company and hotel policy order to maximize hotel revenue
  • Comply with hotel policy regarding floats and access to the safe
  • Ensure that a suitable method of payment for each guest account at the time of check out
  • Be fully aware of the daily and monthly financial performance in respect of average rates
  • Liaise with the Front Office Manager on a daily basis of staffing, training and guest issues
  • Handle any guest complaints or problems or problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved and unresolved problems are reported to your Head of Department

As Reception Supervisor you must show a willingness to be flexible at all times in assisting other departments within the hotel, as the needs of the business dictate - with the ultimate aim in mind of providing the best possible service to the guests

If you come from either a Reception Supervisor or strong Reception shift leader background with a minimum of 12 months experience and live local to the area or can commute, please send your CV today
