My client’s hotel is one of Jersey finest hotels and are now looking for a Head Receptionist to join their existing team and to ensure they remain one of Jersey Finest hotels.

Essential Functions as Head Receptionist:

  • Support and assist the Front of House Manager at all times and deputise in their absence
  • To maintain and strive to improve operating standards throughout FOH, ensuring consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction.
  • To assist in the implementation of departmental training
  • As Head Receptionist you will ensure good communication lines are maintained between all departments but especially FOH, Revenue and Sales, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
  • To have a pro-active view towards promotions and sales and up-selling where appropriate

Desired Qualifications for the Head Receptionists Role:

  • Yo will have excellent written and spoken English
  • You will have strong attention to detail
  • Experience in coaching and team building skills
  • Self-motivated - and able to motivate others to achieve tasks

This role of Head Receptionist is a very demanding role and will require some who can work calmly when under pressure.

The ideal Head Receptionist will have a proven track record of working in a similar role and come from a 4- or 5-Star background.
