My client hotel is in the beautiful hotel in Central London who are now looking for an experienced Reservation Agent

Your Main Responsibilities as Reservation Agent will be:

  • As Reservation Agent you will maximize occupancy and room rates, whilst maintaining the highest standard of performance and service.
  • As Reservation Agent you will be fully familiar with the short- and long-term availability of the hotel.
  • To up sell wherever possible
  • As Reservationist you will ensure that all telephone enquiries are handled politely and professionally and that your telephone etiquette and voice tone are appropriate.
  • As Reservation Agent you will ensure that all written (fax and email) reservation enquiries are professionally responded to.
  • Effectively control and manage any overbooking situation, in accordance with the Hotels overbooking process.
  • To bring any overbooking situation to the attention of the Front of House & Reservations Manager.
  • All filing to be efficiently completed including Reservations Requests, Rates, Web Availability Updates, Deposits and Payments due etc.
  • Document and submit any leads to the Sales manager to be actioned and captured on the database.
  • Ensure that the Front Office team is kept updated on any changes to same day reservations or tomorrow’s arrivals.
