Reception Shift Leader - Large Jersey Hotel -£19,000 - Live in -Meals on Duty  - 40 Hr Week - Uniform Provided -Seasonal Role - March till September -The Client will conduct Telephone Interviews if you are not living in Jersey

This is an ideal opportunity for a supervisory role in one of Jersey’s most popular hotels. As Reception Shift Leader you will be responsible for the day to day running of the reception desk and the delivery of the highest standard of guest care.

Main Tasks as Reception Shift Leader

  • Supervision of the Front Desk to ensure a quality reception service and the maintenance of standards throughout your shift.
  • Assisting with the training and development of reception staff – ensuring thorough induction, product and procedural knowledge, as well as an understanding of Health and Safety issues and most importantly excellent guest service standards.
  • To be responsible for all the administrative functions associated with your shift including responsibility for all monies and cashiering duties.
  • To liaise closely with other hotel departments throughout your shift.

You Need

  • At least one year’s hotel reception experience, ideally with some supervisory skills
  • A thorough understanding of reception and cashiering duties
  • Strong communication skills, customer focused, calm and able to work under pressure
  • Good administration, organisation and computer skills
  • Lots of enthusiasm and energy
