An opportunity has become vacant for a Night Porter who is customer orientated and focused on going that extra mile in order to create an unforgettable guest experience at this busy hotel in Winchester

40 hours per week - 5 out of 7 says

The Night Porter is responsible for:

  • Providing first class 24 hour service to guests
  • Ensure that public areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Assisting early morning staff by issuing keys, stores and sorting any equipment
  • Room Service
  • Ordering newspapers as required and checking any planners which requires ordering materials
  • Entering breakfast orders, room service or any bar service onto the system
  • Assist the duty manager in all departments as required
  • Provide a smooth and efficient handover, accurately reporting any incidents

As Night Porter you should have the following:

  • Minimum 12 months experience within a 3/4 star Hotel
  • Ideally experience Protel but training can be provided
  • Excellent communication both verbally and written
  • Must be over 21 years
In return our client is offering accommodation at £50 per week / Free use of the leisure club / parking / discounted hotel rates for family and friends / free meals on duty
