Our 4 star hotel client is set within the beautiful Lake District with unparalleled views over the most glorious countryside and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Reception Manager to join their team.

As Reception Manager you will play a vital role in delivering great customer service to all the guests with a keen eye for detail and have an organised approach as well as a ‘can do’ attitude

As the Reception Manager your duties will include:

  • Responsible for organising and running of the Reception
  • Attend morning and weekly meetings
  • Ensure expenditure is controlled within the set guidelines
  • Undertake duty manager shifts as and when required
  • Exceed guest expectations
  • Being aware of the daily business and meet and greet all VIP’s
  • Recruitment and training of the team
  • Leading, monitoring and motivating the team, providing guidance and support
  • Liaise with the other HOD’s on a daily basis

To be considered for Reception Manager you should have the following:

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a Supervisory or Management role
  • Ideally 4 or 5 star hotel background
  • Able to work shifts including weekends and as & when business demands
  • You will be a customer orientated individual and always go that extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction
  • First class communication skills both verbal and written are a MUST
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills ensuring great attention to detail at all times
  • Experience using Opera would be advantageous but not essential
  • Car driver as property is remote
