Ideal role for a Night Auditor/Assistant Night Manager looking for next career move

My client hotel is very close to Gatwick Airport who are now looking for a Night Manager working 4 on 3 off 10-hour shift pattern.

As Night Manager you must have experience in a similar role with experience at supervisory or managerial level. 

You must be self-motivated and be an inspirational leader, who believes in delivering the best possible standards in guest service, continually leading your team by example. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills.

As Night Manager the role will involve:


  • Monitoring and supervising staff, ensuring that the hotel standards are maintained at all times
  • Directing night business and maintaining, reviewing and preparing the co – ordination of daily business
  • Overseeing all front office accounting and financial procedures, night team duties and business transactions
  • Updating booking confirmations and checking details and requirements
  • Updating reservations, inputting cancellations and amendments and making sure all booking are accurate.
  • Monitoring all aspects of the night audit
  • Ensuring that unparalleled service is provided to guests throughout the night
