My client’s fantastic brand new 4* hotel opening based in Hull are looking for a Meetings and Events Operations Manager to run the Conference & Banqueting department within their hotel.

 The Meetings and Events Operations Manager will report into the Food and Beverage Operations manager and will be overseeing the day to day operational requirements for all meetings and events taking place, including weddings, dinners and corporate events.

Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

•Exceeding customer expectations with service and presentation

•Supervising your team and offer suitable training to progress staff development

•The ability to motivate your team

•Planning and forecasting future sales and revenue opportunities

•Hands on support required for all key meeting, events and conference business

•Review and Management of guest feedback

•Maintaining a great relationship with all internal departments with excellent communication to ensure a smooth operation

•Maintaining excellent relationships with the hotels clients

•The ability to manage large events with upto 1,000 delegates
