General Manager – Modern busy 4* Hotel with over 100 contemporary decorated bedrooms and multiple conference and meeting rooms located in the peaceful setting of Berkshire situated within close proximity of local towns to explore. 

The Hotel also offers superb Spa and Leisure facilities. They are looking for a general manager that can come in and lead from the front with confidence and experience.

The successful operations manager will receive:

The General Manager will report directly to the owner and will be responsible for:

•Leading by example with a hands on approach and manage effectively your team.

•Develop the team to achieve high standards of customer service through ongoing communication, training, delegation and performance and development reviews.

•Continue to grow the wedding & events revenue.

•Health & safety

•Ensure company SOP’s are implemented & adhered

•Control cost of sales and overhead expenses to enable budgeted profits to be achieved, monitoring food, liquor and staffing costs on a weekly basis.

•Work with the Financial Controller to produce annual budgets and accurate forecasts, control and maintain profit and Loss to ensure your hotel targets are met.

The ideal candidate will need to have previous hotel management experience at a 4* level and would ideally be versed in providing a high end service. You will be flexible, well organised, possess excellent communication skills and an outstanding all round knowledge of F&B within hotels. The successful general manager will be a person who leads from the front with a hands on management ethos.
