ASSISTANT HEAD WAITER /ESS- £22,000 + BONUS – TEMPORARY LIVE IN AVAILABLE

Assistant Head Waiter/ess: We are currently recruiting for a stunning 4 Red Star, 4 rosette hotel based in beautiful surroundings on the island of Jersey.

 They are looking for an assistant head waiter or waitress with passion, experience and the highest of standards, it would ideally be suited to a chef de rang or supervisor who is ready for their next step up. Wine knowledge would be an advantage

The successful assistant head waiter will receive:

Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager the assistant head waiter /ess will be responsible for selling, serving and actively promoting produce within the hotel. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Taking orders and managing their section
  • Staff supervision
  • Wine service
  • Mis en plus
  • Look after guests and their needs
  • Familiarise yourself with menus in all food and beverage outlets in the hotel

To be successful for this role you should have restaurant experience as above and have worked in a hotel of a similar class.
