GENERAL MANAGER – Up to £32k PLUS Bonus

Our client is currently looking for a General Manager to successfully lead this 80 bedroom 3 star hotel, in a prime location close to local amenities. Set in a thriving coastal town, this Georgian style hotel has a high volume of guests passing through its doors due to being an established property for coach holidays. It is owned by a friendly family hotel group whose properties are featured along the South Coast.

Therefore the General Manager of this site needs to have competent management skills whereby they can stand alone when making key decisions over the property.

The successful General Manager will receive:

  • A competitive salary of up to £32k per annum plus bonus
  • 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays)
  • Temporary live in available if relocating
  • Quarterly bonus based against KPIs
  • Meals on duty

Due to the high position and standards expected within this hotel, the successful candidate must be an experienced General Manager, who is ready to continue the successful running of this site.

Reporting directly to the Hotel Chain Owners, the General Manager will be responsible for:

  • Day to day control of the hotel
  • Managing budgets, capital expenditure and staff holidays
  • Achieving profit targets
  • Dealing with contractors and buyers in conjunction with the group buyer
  • Carrying out inspections of the hotel and services
  • Promoting the business
