ASSISTANT MANAGER - £21K - SOUTHAMPTON

 

 

 

Assistant conference & events manager: Exciting new role managing the function and events at this busy branded Hotel, based near the thriving city of Southampton, conveniently located close to many local attractions. They are looking for an experienced Assistant manager with a strong background in conference management and who would like to join this exciting company with fantastic prospects for their future.

Reporting directly to the Stadium Manager, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for:

 

 

 

·         Managing functions in the hotel including conferences for up to 500 covers

 

·        Assisting in managing and developing the team

 

·         Planning, organising and controlling the day to day operation

 

·         Creating & implementing sales promotions

 

·         Ensuring guest and employee satisfaction

 

·         Following and updating SOPs and brand standards

 

·         Staff training and development

 

 

 

The ideal Assistant manager will need to have previous experience managing large functions and events.
