Towngate Personnel are currently working with a stunning four star Hotel set in the heart of some of Scotland’s most breath-taking countryside.

The Hotel has over 100 bedrooms, 2 restaurants, and private dining facilities for up to 100 people.

The fine dining restaurant is currently around 40 covers a night in the week and up to 100 at the weekends. The second restaurant is only open during peak season and is a more relaxed, family friendly offering.

The hotel boasts impressive leisure facilities including a swimming pool, gym and luxurious spa. This is the perfect destination for leisure guests looking to relax and unwind.

We are looking for a head chef to manage the kitchen, bring ideas to the table with regards to menu development and possibly push for rosettes.

Ideal candidates for the role:

  • Will have experience as a head chef within a high quality hotel
  • Will have experience working with quality, fresh ingredients
  • You will be comfortable in a kitchen serving multiple outlets
  • You will be a hand on head chef, happy to lead from the front

Typical duties will include:

  • Menu development
  • Costing dishes
  • Working to GP targets
  • Writing the rota
  • Ordering from suppliers
  • Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and organised
  • Helping to train junior members of the team
