Towngate personnel are currently recruiting a Chef de Partie for a quirky, boutique hotel situated in the heart of the stunning Cotswold countryside. The Hotel is situated just a short drive from Cheltenham and Gloucester and has excellent public transport links. 

The Hotel has around 30 bedrooms but has a high diner ratio. The restaurant regularly serves around 70 covers for evening service and around 40 for lunch. The Hotel is also a popular destination for walk ins looking for afternoon tea or al fresco dining in the grounds.

The Hotel also has an award winning spa and caters for many guests on spa packages who eat within the restaurant before or after treatments.

The food is a 2 rosette standard and everything is cooked from scratch including the pastries, breads and ice creams.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to help on all sections apart from pastry. You will work with a very highly acclaimed head chef with an excellent reputation locally and nationally.

Ideal candidates for the role:

  • Will have experience as a Chef de Partie within a good quality hotel or restaurant
  • You will have a genuine passion for good quality fresh ingredients
  • You will work well under pressure
  • You will be happy working a mixture of straight and split shifts

Benefits on offer:

  • There is a salary on offer of £20,000
  • Overtime is paid if you work more than 45 hours a week
  • All staff receive a share of tips
  • The shifts are mainly straights
