Towngate Personnel are currently working with a stunning four star Hotel in Grantham. The Hotel has over 100 bedrooms and caters for both corporate and leisure guests.

The Hotel has 3 food outlets, one main restaurant, a golfer’s restaurant and a cafe attached to the spa.

In addition there are C&B facilities for up to 500 banqueting and there are 10 function rooms in total.

Most of the food is fresh, local suppliers are used where possible and the kitchen is well equipped.

We are currently looking for Chef de Parties to work in the main kitchen, cooking for the main restaurant and C&B department.

Typical duties will include:

  • Working on various sections
  • Taking direction from the head and sous chef
  • Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, tidy and organised
  • Ensuring stock is stored correctly
  • Helping to supervise the junior chefs and training where necessary
  • Making sure all food leaves the kitchen to the required spec
  • Following recipes closely to ensure consistency

Ideal Candidates for the role:

  • Will have experience as a Chef de Partie in a Hotel or Restaurant
  • You will have experience working with good quality fresh food
  • You will ideally have some banqueting experience as well as restaurant experience
  • You will be keen and eager to learn and progress
